Title of the Project: Preventing and Treating Diabetes in People with Tuberculosis
Project Site: Tamil Nadu- Chennai, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur
Expected Impact in 3 years:
Capacity building will take place at different levels. The TB health workers will be trained in diabetes prevention, detection and screening. The medical professionals will be trained in diabetes diagnosis and management of TB patients.
